The kindness, cheerfulness and availability of the owner. Authentic farm stay. Total immersion in nature on this large farm. We were able to take a walk in the forest on the property.

The farm is a little far from the entrances to the volcano park.

We had a stay at a fabulous organic farm. This was the most authentic local stay during our 1 month vacation! You live on a farm with a great host. The farm also includes huge parts of primary rainforest, therefore you will find (and hear!) plenty of animals during night and day giving you an unforgettable true nature experience. The farm workers where even friendly enough to give us a free horseback riding tour on their own horses, while the host gave us a a free farm tour showing how they grow and process cocoa and other fruits.

This is a very new locality. The main hostel with a huge chill out are is finished, but you will find on side of it being a construction area (mainly for pools and hot tubs) The location of the farm is not where the map on booking shows it! It is around 10km more north. As we wanted to visit the Rincon de la Vieja volcano, this increased our driving time for about 20 min.
